I know that some people will disagree with me, but thats OK.

I would suggest that if you are interested in doing nails that you attend a training program from an accredited school, especially if you are considering doing them on anyone other than yourself. Otherwise, I would leave it to a nail professional to do for you. There are simply too many things that can go wrong during the process, and you could end up with infections, contact dermatitis, and other, not so pretty things. Doing nails really is not as easy as it looks. It is something that needs to be done the right way, or not done at all.

One of the benefits of attending a good training program is that it will prepare you you take the tests which are necessary to get licensed in your state.

Being licensed not only allows you to work legally as a nail technician, but it also allows you access to professional products which are not for sale to the general public. This is done through distributors, and through local professional beauty supply stores.

The acrylic kits that you see in drugstores contain very low grade, poor quality products. Personally, I would never use one of these kits on my own nails, or anyone elses.

But if anyone else wants to tell you what you need to buy, and the prices, and so on, then go for it. But for professional reasons, I cannot advise you on this.Acrylic Nails? how to apply ? what to get price?
don't do it yourself if you've never done it before.
