i need to hire or buy a nail gun to fix 6mm ply to floor quickly by hand is too labour intense.air or electric?.PRICE OR HIRE ?.hELP NEEDED ASAP thankyou.I need to nail 6mm plywood onto floorboards.cheapest gun needed electric or air? price. Need to lay about 40?
If you plan to lay 6mm, or 1/4'; plywood, I would check a rental yard near you for a compressor and narrow gauge crown stapler. It looks like a brad nailer, but shoots small staples which will give you better holding power in the plywood. Also apply some construction adhesive under, such as Liquid Nails or PL400 to avoid squeaks. Hope this helps.I need to nail 6mm plywood onto floorboards.cheapest gun needed electric or air? price. Certainly air driven would be more efficient, as with an electric, you might have to go behind with a hammer.

Cheap is probably relative, and not knowing at all where you are, we can't know your access to renting tools. Certainly to save in expending labor the Air nail gun would be worth whatever the rental cost. If this is all you'll ever use it for you probably should avoid a purchase cost.

Just my 2 ';sense';
If it's a one off job what's wrong with good old hammer and nails. In my time I have laid miles of 6'; T%26amp;G flooring ( 2 floor nails per joist) that's a lot of nailing, you get to work up a rythm and the job could be over by the time you spend searching for a gun. Call me old fashioned, well I guess I am.
